Long-Term Water Intrusion Renovation & Waterproofing
The Aerial Companies’ unique capability to evaluate, diagnose and repair the entire exterior building envelope – balconies, windows, sliding glass doors and curvilinear walls – was a valuable asset to this customer’s waterfront estate home.
This estate home sustained substantial damage due to long term water intrusion related to a poorly executed renovation project. Ultimately the damage to the structure and its various components were substantial enough that the owners had to vacate the home and undertake a major re-repair project. The project included: replacing the roof, rebuilding of window and door structural openings, replacement of windows and doors, rebuilding and waterproofing of exterior decks with newly integrated railings and new exterior stucco cladding system with integrated air barrier and drainage plane system.
