Water intrusion exacted severe damage to this house. The cost of the substantial damage exceeded the FEMA 50% rule guidelines. As a result of the FEMA determination, the owner had to demolish the existing structure and decided to build a brand new current Florida Building Code compliant estate home on the same site.
