Building Sealant Restoration

Florida Hospital - Orlando, Florida

The Florida Hospital is an 881-bed, acute-care community hospital using the latest technology to treat over 85,000 patients annually. We were the selected bidder by the engineering firm Williamson and Associates to install the unique 123 Pre-Formed Joint System by Dow Corning at both the ribbon windows and the panelized building system to solve water and air leak issues.

All goals were met, we want to thank the Florida Hospital and especially Dr. Lynn Smith who was the Engineer on staff, Guy Long the Consulting Engineer at Williamson and Associates, and our Dow Corning representative who was also a valuable asset to this project. The Aerial Companies, Inc. - Florida Hospital Altamonte Springs - Window Sealant Replacement and Elastomeric Coatings

Our relationship with the Adventist Health System continues to grow. This 2010 project includes removal and replacement of window sealants using Dow silicone sealants and extrusions, installation of aluminum Kynar Coated Panels and applying new coatings at tower walls.

Brick and Grout Restoration

Cornerstone Cancer Center - Tampa, Florida

Karins Engineering Group, Inc. specified products and procedures to restore the discolored brick to its original condition at the Cornerstone Cancer Center. We used premium stain and stripping products manufactured by Cathedral Stone Products headquartered in Maryland. This project included many detailed processes requiring a team of experts and we want to thank our crew and Project Manager Carlita Brady, Karins Engineering and Cathedral Stone for their contributions to this challenging project.

Sealant Restoration - Roof Repairs & Repaint

Naples Community Hospital (Downtown)

NCH Downtown and NCH North Naples provide personalized care for over 30,000 patients a year in their two-hospital, 681 bed system. In 2007 we proudly provided our services for the cleaning, repair and repaint of the metal roof system, we solved a few leak issues and removed and replaced all the window sealants. Stucco repairs were also needed in some areas and other waterproofing solutions were provided. We paid great attention to patient privacy, staff and event schedules to be as non-intrusive as possible.

Patio Deck Roof Replacement

The Villages, FL - The Villages Regional Hospital

Water intrusion due to unsealed planter box assemblies necessitated the following emergency scopes of work here at this hospital. We removed the steel trellis, stone caps on the planter walls, handrail assembly and roof pavers pedestal system. We replaced the EPDM with modified bitumen roof system to complete this project and stop the water intrusion.
